Disney+’s new Christmas project, tentatively titled as “Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie,” is in the works. According to the first logline shared, musician brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas will “encounter a series of comedic obstacles as they try to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families.”

The film is being directed by Oscar-winning Jessica Yu. Produced by Disney Branded Television, the writing and producing duties are being handled by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. Jonas Brothers, along with Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman, and Scott Morgan, will be producing the film. Grammy-nominated Justin Tranter will serve as the music producer and write original songs for the project.

Jonas Brothers have a long history with Disney. The pop rock trio, known for hits like “Year 3000,” “Burnin’ Up,” and more recently “Sucker,” released their second album under Disney’s Hollywood Records label. The brothers also made a mark on Disney Channel, starring in the original films “Camp Rock” and its sequel. After releasing two more albums on Hollywood Records, they found success with their own Disney Channel show “Jonas.” The group disbanded in 2013 but reunited six years later with “Sucker,” which became their first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100. Their subsequent album, “Happiness Begins,” topped the Billboard 200 chart. In 2023, Jonas Brothers released their sixth studio album, “The Album.”
